Two artist friends of mine and I started the Speedway Artist Collective. It was formed so we could have a physical place for local artists to share their racing focused artwork during the month of May here in Speedway, Indiana, home of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy 500. If you have been around for awhile, you know that during the month of May my creative focus shifts a bit.
In the midst of securing a location for the May event, we were able to acquire a different location for us to give the Collective a permanent home! We will have a wide variety of artists showcasing their work along with a place for the three of us to share our art as well.
I am a multi-craftual person, meaning, I make a lot of different things. This website is focused on my glass and knitting but I do other things as well. This will give me a place to put those creative works a place to be shared. Stay tuned for more information about the Speedway Artist Collective as time goes on.
